The most popular lengths include 50 feet, 75 feet, 100 feet, 150 feet, and 200 feet. The cable's center conductor is made of high-grade copper-coated steel that has been swept to 4.0GHz, making it an excellent choice for various applications, including satellite, cable, wireless (including cell services), and communication uses.
With very low signal attenuation (2.75dB at 750MHz for the 50' cable), this cable can be used for long runs without compromising signal or picture quality. The cable utilizes high-grade 360-degree compression connectors to ensure that it remains water and weather-proof, without any loss of signal. This design allows the cable ends to withstand pulling, weather, and extreme temperatures (rated up to 167 degrees Fahrenheit).
The coaxial shielding consists of a 60% aluminum-magnesium alloy braid and 100% solid aluminum foil (including an 18% overlap) to prevent interference from neighboring or rogue signals. The outer jacket is a flexible, UV-resistant PVC that has been tested for use in many extreme conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
The dielectric center of the cable is made from gas-injected foam PE, maintaining a consistent impedance of 75 Ohms +/- 3 throughout the entire length of the coax cable. The outside diameter of the cable is 0.27 inches (6.85 mm), with the connectors being slightly larger at 0.4375 inches (11.11 mm).
