The center conductor is made of high-grade copper-coated steel, swept to 3.0GHz, making it suitable for various applications such as satellite, cable, wireless (including cell services), and communication uses. With very low signal attenuation (2.75dB at 750MHz for the 50' cable), it can be used on long runs without losing signal or picture quality.
The coaxial cable features high-grade, 360-degree weatherproof compression connectors, ensuring it remains water and weather-proof without any signal loss. This allows the ends to withstand pulling, weather, and extreme temperatures (rated up to 167 degrees Fahrenheit).
The coaxial shielding is composed of a 60% aluminum-magnesium alloy braid and 100% solid aluminum foil (including an 18% overlap) to prevent interference from neighboring or rogue signals. The outer jacket is a flexible, UV-resistant PVC that has been tested for use in many extreme conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
The dielectric center is made from gas-injected foam PE, maintaining a consistent 75 Ohms +/-3 throughout the entire length of the coax cable. The outside diameter of the cable is 0.27 inches (6.85 mm), with the connectors slightly larger at 0.4375 (7/16) inches (11.11 mm). The cable also features length markings every two feet on the side, making it easier to cut to the desired length.
For those who wish to cut and reinstall the ends on the wire, the company offers a repair and splice kit, complete with instructions and free technical support. The product is backed by 100% free returns, as well as free technical and customer support.
